In January of 1999, the choir toured to New York City in the United States to participate in the AAPAE (American Association of Professional Arts Educators) Winter Festival, which takes place at Carnegie Hall. The choir also visited Central Park, schools in Brooklyn, the World Trade Centres, the NBC studios, sang in St. Patrick’s Cathedral, and took in Beauty and the Beast on Broadway.
