CHANT – Mini Concerts

String Theory Music Collective presents CHANT at the Central Library, featuring Cree-Dene Songmaker Sherryl Sewepagaham, Spiritus Chamber Choir, and the Calgary Children’s Choir. This project is inspired by the human impulse to create music for healing and connection. Our foray into chant casts a wide net with music that reflects historical and present-day perspectives, the society we live in, and the land we call home. A highlight will be the premier of Papîyahtik: Peace Chant, co-created by Sherryl Sewepagaham and Andrea Neumann.
