In 2000 the Calgary Children’s Choir toured to the Maritime Provinces of Canada. We spent time on Prince Edward Island where we visited Lucy Maude Montgomery’s house, and saw the production of Anne of Green Gables. We also made a trip to Cape Breton where we visited the home of famous Canadian composer Alistair McGillivray and sang one of his pieces to him. In Nova Scotia we were hosted by the Three Churches Community and held a concert there. We also visited the town of Lunenburg, where we took a trip on one of the traditional tall ships, and visited the historical town core.
